Five Star Meals

Welcome to Banta Elementary School District Nutrition Services Department!

2021-2022 MEAL PROGRAM

Welcome back families! We are excited to have your smiling faces back on campus. All students will receive FREE lunch this year! No payments required, everyone eats for free! We are offering two meals at lunch. One meat option and one non-meat option. Please talk to your kids about the menu so they know if they would like to order a meal. Each day teachers will take attendance. Due to vendor shortages nation wide there will be days unfortunately that the menu does not match what is listed online.

Beginning on October 6, 2021 school year we will continue Grab and Go from 1:00-1:30pm for families not receiving meals on campus.

Good nutrition and learning go hand in hand.

The Nutrition Services department is made up of a team of food and nutrition professionals that are dedicated to students' health, well being and their ability to learn. We support learning by promoting healthy habits for lifelong nutrition and fitness practices.

Meals, foods and beverages sold or served at schools meet state and federal requirements which are based on the USDA Dietary Guidelines. We provide students with access to a variety of affordable and appealing foods that meet the health and nutrition needs of students.
